Patricia Wild Optometrists- Ramsey and Farmhill
Some occupations, be they workplace or leisure, are better served with the emphasis on mid-distance.
The desktop computer screen tends to be 50-70 cm. away from the eye, not a distance prescription nor a conventional reading distance, which is about 35 cm.
Many employers pay for the provision of spectacles to cover this situation n the workplace and we are able to supply these.
If you work primarily in such circumstances, advise the Optometrist during the eye examination so it can be taken into consideration.
